Marc Elie Asselineau – Executive Director
Marc joined Emergent International Payment Systems in 2009 and as the Executive Director has applied his vast background in the development of our unique prepaid payment card system in Africa. Marc’s focus on fostering local partnerships within the countries where we work, while recognizing the cultural aspects of what we do, has proven invaluable. His relationships bridge Emergent International with the respective Central Banks, issuing banks, processor, and distributor. Previous experience includes working as CEO and President of companies in the technical and medical field including an OTCBB company in the medical field, and as personal advisor in U.S. for the president of the largest French private health insurance company. Marc is a U.S. Citizen, born in France, and also has a law degree, and expertise in the legal aspects of the process.
Frank Murphy – Prepaid Program Development & Commercialization
Frank joined The Fresnel Companies as an Expert-in-Residence in 2018 and has been a key advisor for growth and business development for Emergent International Payment Systems, LLC, focusing on such initiatives as Emergent’s E-Pay Certified City program and its various Brand Banking™ initiatives. He has a broad and deep set of business experiences acquired over a successful career working with a range of organizations from large established companies to early-stage startups. Frank spent 20-plus years at Microsoft Corporation, where he held several management and sales leadership positions. While at Microsoft, Frank handled key account services for American Express and has worked extensively in the prepaid debit card business, dating back to 2007. Prior to joining the Emergent team, Frank co-founded and served as COO for the technology firm BlueMetal Architects. Under his leadership, BlueMetal was acquired by Insight Enterprises. Frank has founded, developed and invested in several startup organizations throughout his career. Frank received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and has an MBA from Rutgers University.
